You are invited to join Canada’s Technology Triangle (CTT), Cambridge Mayor Doug Craig and other Canadian organizations in a delegation to China from April 12- 21, 2012.

Program Options
CTT’s program will look at 3 main cities: Hong Kong, Chengdu and Shanghai. Our business, investment and talent attraction focus will include Science and Technology (R&D, ICT, Advanced Manufacturing), Education and Design. You are welcome to join in the whole program or participate in separate modules.
April 12-16, 2012 (Hong Kong)
The CTT delegation will participate in the International ICT Expo 2012 in Hong Kong. This is part of a Canadian ICT Partnering Mission to Hong Kong that involves CTT and the Government of Canada, in partnership with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Hong Kong Economic Trade Office (HKETO) in Canada.
In addition, CTT will organize a value-added program in Hong Kong that includes not only the opportunity to showcase Waterloo Region companies to Asia through this international ICT Expo, but it will also include strategic gatherings and meetings in Hong Kong specific to our companies’ needs and interests in the Waterloo Region.
CTT is interested in ensuring your success in two way trade and development opportunities. If you are looking to sell your product and services in Asia, this is an excellent opportunity for you to expose your firm to the Asian market. If you are exploring opportunities to establish a presence in the market, this is also a great place to start.
Additionally, if you would like to explore opportunities in mainland China, consider participating in Module 2 by joining CTT and the Mayor of Cambridge, on behalf of the Region of Waterloo in meetings and gatherings in Chengdu and Shanghai. These are cities that excel in Science and Technology-related research, development, education and design. CTT’s previous contact with these cities will benefit delegation members on this mission.
By participating in this mission, you will also help CTT and the Waterloo Region in promoting the region’s excellence as a place to invest, do business and to participate in our local educational institutions.
Note: If you are only interested in showcasing at the ICT Expo in Hong Kong and do not wish to participate in CTT’s value-added delegation program, we would be pleased to send you details on showcasing at the EXPO as part of the Canadian Pavilion on a complementary basis. Display space is available at the ICT Expo in Hong Kong (www.ictexpo.com) in an area devoted to the Consulate General of Canada Pavilion. (Max: 3sq m or 10 by 10ft area per company based on first come first served/subject to availability: application required.
