Promoting the Waterloo Region to the World

Canada’s Technology Triangle (CTT) is pleased to be hosting a Chinese Automotive Supplier interested in establishing operations in North America. The company has expressed a keen interest in the Waterloo Region as a potential location for expansion and will be visiting from July 25th – August 5th, 2011.

The company specializes in air and oil filtration for cars and trucks. They supply many prominent companies such as: Changchun First Automobile Group Co. (FAW), Beijing Foton Automobile Co; Sino-Truck Jinan; Qingdao Automobile Factory and MANN+HUMMEL Filter Trading (Shanghai) Co.

The company seeks to establish operations in North America by way of:
1. The purchase a 10 acre property/building a 100,000 sq.ft. plant or;
2. The lease of a manufacturing facility or;
3. The merger or acquisition of local auto part company.
