Business Mission to China 2012: Hong Kong, Chengdu & Shanghai
Canada’s Technology Triangle's first international business mission of 2012 will be to China, with targeted activities in Hong Kong, Chengdu and Shanghai. This April 13 - 20, 2012, join City of Cambridge Mayor Doug Craig, CTT and Waterloo Region companies and institutions at an international ICT Expo in Hong Kong as well as strategic gatherings and meetings in Chengdu and Shanghai. This will be Mayor Craig's second trip to China in efforts to forge new business, government and institutional relationships to foster a global business presence.
Previous mission participant Darryl King, President, Logikor Dedicated Logistics says, "Participating in CTT’s Mission to China was very helpful in growing our understanding of the Asian market. The connections we made have led to the creation of a Logikor office in Hong Kong, which is already resulting in business for our operations back in Canada."
Joining an international business mission with an organization such as CTT lets your organization take advantage of existing business and government relationships, eases the tackling of cultural barriers and provides you with insight into the business trends, projections and plans of a foreign country and economy.
If you are interested in ensuring your success in two way trade and development opportunities and showcasing your organization in Asia, then this is the mission for you.
