Thanks to our Partners: your support is a key ingredient for CTT

In 2010, one of CTT’s areas of focus was to leverage our municipal funding with more private sector support. We work closely with regional and municipal colleagues and rely on local government support in our role of attracting new companies and jobs to Waterloo Region from abroad. But as a public-private partnership, support and input from the private sector is crucial as we work to enhance Waterloo Region’s economy. We are very pleased to have had thirteen companies join in partnership with CTT in 2010, offering both dollars and practical support.

Logikor stepped forward as a leading supporter of CTT’s work, as well as joining in the CTT missions to Germany and China. Prestige Business Interiors outfitted our new office space with great looking and functional Herman Miller furniture, creating a good first impression when international visitors arrive. We were joined by new Corporate Partners Research In Motion, The Walter Fedy Partnership, and MacNaughton Hemson Britton Clarkson Planning Limited, whose financial support help fund CTT’s outreach efforts to attract new companies to the region.

Fibernetics provides a phone system with many great features. MFX Partners and Rees Communications are helping to creatively package our message about our region. Brentwood made the move from event sponsor to on-going Partner, providing great transportation solutions for incoming delegations.

Wilfrid Laurier University and AE Advancement offer collaboration, resources and expert assistance on our outreach to China. Koenig & Consultants assisted with wind energy cluster development, particularly with the Husum Wind Conference in Germany. Canadian Digital Media Network supported a study on the Digital Media cluster.

These new partners join long-time supporters, University of Waterloo, Bingemans, Atria, BMO, Borden Ladner Gervais, Coldwell Banker Peter Benninger Realty, Dean Group, Gowlings, KPMG, McDonald-Green, Melloul Blamey Construction, Miller Thomson, Waterloo Inn and Scotiabank Group, among others. These Partners contribute financial support, sector expertise, hospitality to our international guests, and support and advice. In return they receive year-round appreciation and recognition, introductions to incoming clients and great networking opportunities.

If you would like to hear more about CTT opportunities, please contact Anne Lukin, Manager, Strategic Relationships at 519-747-2541 ext. 102 or anne@techtriangle.com. Many thanks to our Corporate Partners listed below!
