Welcome to "The Triangle"

I think of the word triangle as being synonymous with Canada’s Technology Triangle – a region that is transforming multiple business sectors, and one that is rapidly becoming recognized worldwide for excellence in a number of different areas including high tech, research and education. When I think of a triangle, I no longer think of the typical 3-sided shape we were all introduced to as children. I think of anything but typical. Rather, the word triangle ignites other thoughts in me; words like diverse, innovative, collaborative and entrepreneurial come to mind. Phrases like exceptional talent, top-notch companies, world leaders, and amazing lifestyle. To me, to be part of this triangle is to be part of a mark of distinction – unique, desirable and exceptional in every way.

CTT Inc as an organization is actively promoting the Waterloo Region to increase investment and talent attraction to our area. Part of CTT’s journey of achieving this involves offering enhanced tools that will help potential investors better understand what we are all about. People now need everything quickly and readily available in many mediums in order to accommodate their fast paced lifestyle. Hence, the article you are reading is a part of CTT’s growth in this area.

“The Triangle” is a new and fresh newsletter that aims to become a primary community resource for Waterloo Region and investors interested in learning about and becoming part of our community. The Triangle will focus on Regional Economic Development News updates, Featured Events, Upcoming Activities, Investment Opportunities and share information about the multiple partners that help drive CTT. It will offer a chance to learn more about the ways you and your company can become involved and how partners and ambassadors are collaborating to make Waterloo Region a primary choice for the international business community.

For CTT Inc, there is no time like the present to start expanding our reach outward to the community and the world. Without spilling all the secrets, I will say that the newsletter is a starting point. A teaser if you will of the many changes you will see in the organization and its impact and value in the community.
